This week in Introduction to Criminal Justice, students are holding their third and final trial. Students are putting their knowledge of the criminal justice system, criminal court procedures, and police work into practice. Throughout the course, students have had the opportunity to play lawyers, witnesses, detectives, the judge, and serve on a jury. In this trial, faculty from around the building have played the role of some witnesses to allow student lawyers the opportunity to practice preparing and questioning adverse witnesses.
