Lincoln-Way East is pleased to announce that on December 7th, 2024 the Varsity Girls Basketball team and the Varsity Boys Basketball team will be taking on Lincoln-Way Central at the Hoosiers Gym in Knightstown, Indiana. The Hoosier Gym is known as the home of the Hickory High School Huskers and the location of the practices and home games used for the filming of the movie “Hoosiers”.
“We have been working on this game for a couple of years, and we finally were able to get a date that worked. This will be a great experience for our student-athletes, coaches, and parents. The kids will have to do their homework and watch the movie but the adults already know exactly how special this will be," said Mark Vander Kooi, LWE athletic director.
