Illinois Report Card

Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 is proud to announce that all three high schools have received a 2022 Annual Summative Designation of ‘Exemplary’ from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). An ‘Exemplary’ designation indicates that a school is in the highest performing 10 percent of schools in the State.

This year’s report card shows a District graduation rate of 96% as well as an improvement in 9th grade students on track with their coursework from 94% to 96%. Additionally, 40% of Lincoln-Way students are participating in Early College Coursework, which includes both AP and dual credit courses.

Another highlight from the report card shows that SAT scores in math improved from 44% to 56% of students meeting or exceeding the state benchmarks, and 50% are meeting benchmarks in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing.

“The District’s 2022 report card is a direct reflection of the hard work and effort put forth by our students, teachers and administrators over the past year. The exemplary designation for all three schools accurately reflects the culture of academic excellence that we strive for here at Lincoln-Way,” said Scott Tingley, Superintendent.

Each October, ISBE releases the Illinois State Report Card that, in addition to the summative designation, provides an overview of how each school is performing on several indicators. ISBE evaluates every Illinois high school on eight indicators: Graduation rate (50%); English-language arts proficiency (7.5%); math proficiency (7.5%); science proficiency (5%); English learner progress to proficiency (5%); chronic absenteeism (10%); climate survey participation (6.67%); and 9th grade on track (8.33%).
